Notes

Three days before this report another FBI informant, Colombo Soldier Gregory Scarpa, also reported Massino as having recently been named the Family's official Boss.

Massino, at the time serving a ten-year sentence at FCI Talladega, Alabama, later testified that he was only elected Boss after Philip Rastelli's death in June 1991.

Salvatore Vitale testified that during this period he was a Captain helping run the Family, and that it wasn't until after Massino's release from prison in November 1992 that he was appointed official Underboss.

Frank Coppa and Gerald 'Jerry' Chilli are believed to have been Acting Captains for James 'Big Lou' Tartaglione and Joseph 'Junior' Chilli respectively.

'Little Charlie' Musillo had crew members in New York in addition to Jersey; about a year later he sponsored Bronx Associate Vincent Basciano for membership.

One missing Captain is Louis 'Louie Ha-Ha' Attanasio, who took over Cesare Bonventre's crew following Bonventre's murder in 1984.

Another Captain, Alfred 'Al Walker' Embarrato, had only recently been demoted.
